Our team is a diverse tapestry woven together by a shared belief: every helping hand can combat food waste, alleviate hunger, and create a better world. We come from different regions, cultures, and backgrounds, but we are bound by a common purpose – to improve the lives of people who are less fortunate and to create a world that is more sustainable, compassionate, and inclusive. Our diversity is our strength, and together, we are a force for positive change.

Our Inspiration

Growing up in a developing country, I witnessed and understood the struggles and challenges of individuals and families who did not have enough to eat. In contrast, the amount of food that is wasted every day in America is astonishing. As a result, the idea of Leftovers4Life was born. In addition to reducing food waste and alleviating hunger, our team hope that our service will increase awareness of the issue and inspire more individuals, organizations and policymakers to join our mission and work toward a world without hunger.

Meet Our Team

Founder and CEO

Mia is the founder and CEO. The background in Social Work gave her a thorough understanding of social and economic factors that contribute to hunger and food waste. With a strong passion for creating positive change, she recognized the critical need to address the issues of food waste and food insecurity in our community.

Co-Founder and Head Chef

Sue is co-founder and head chef. She oversees food preparation, quality control and menu innovation. Every dish she makes is prepared with love and care since she has a passion for cooking and strong desire to make a meaningful impact. Her meals not only satisfy taste buds but also warm the hearts and comfort those who are facing food insecurity.
